What you need to know...

• It's the third Sunday of each month, and the start time is 10:00 unless advised otherwise.
• A few days before each month's task, an e-mail goes out detailing the work, the start time and, crucially, the meeting place. This is sometimes the Rangers' workshop, sometimes one of the car parks or an informal parking area near the work site. If it's at all difficult to find, the e-mail includes directions or a map.
• We usually work until about 4 pm but there is absolutely no obligation to stay all day. People often work up until lunchtime and then go home. But if you are staying all day, bring a packed lunch.
• Due to covid-19 precautions (and because we ran out of funds) we no longer provide tea, coffee, and biscuits for break times. So please bring your own.
• Tools and safety equipment (hard hats if tree-felling is going on, hi-viz if working near roads) are provided. Before covid, we used to also provide work gloves, but for obvious reasons now you should bring your own.

• We'll be out in whatever weather the day has in store for us. Stout footwear, warm clothes, waterproofs, sun hat, sun block, insect repellent etc. are all recommended depending on the season. But if you wear your best stuff it's bound to get ripped by brambles, so don't!
• Under-18s should be accompanied by an adult (this is something to do with our insurance policy). Alternatively, we can get a parental consent form from you BEFORE the young person comes along.
• We don't levy a membership subscription. You can come along just once, or every month, and it's all free!
